Reloading - Jurassic World - Still Miss Jeff Goldblum

Twenty or so years ago, I went into a movie theater for one of my first times. It may not have been THE first time, but it’s the first I remember. I went with my grandpa at the age of 3 or 4 and we sat to watch these big robot dinosaurs on screen come to life. We say the original Jurassic Park and I was blown away by it that, for years, I wanted to be a paleontologist. As I got older, I wanted to tell stories of that caliber or better. It’s twenty years later and we’re revisiting Isla Nublar in Jurassic World and… damn… What a ride.

Reloading - Furious 7

We’re almost caught up on reviews guys! I’m only a month behind instead of two or three! Luckily we’re getting to a point where there aren’t any new movies coming out soon, right? The summer slowdown? Oh… wait… I’m thinking of video games. Never mind. Well… shit… 

Reloading - Taken Too Far?

It’s time for another review here on Reloading. This week, Taken 3, reviewed via DVD copy because when it came out, I never got a chance to see it in theaters. Again, I’m still playing catch-up so feel free to badger me about it if you like. 

Reloading: Indie Game Double Feature

We’re getting righty down to the wire with getting the last of my reviews out before start hitting out “Best Of” lists for the year. So while I found some time, I want to squeak in two indie-game reviews for your pleasure. There’s more I wanted to do, but we’re cutting it close as it is. This week we’re hitting One Finger Death Punch and the Early Access game Hand of Fate. Both are shorter indie titles without too much meat to hold their own full review. So they get to share (still two scores to give though).
