Hello blogger readers! I have some news I’m sure some of you
won’t be quite so fond of, but we’re making changes to how the blog will be
posted, and the functions it will serve for our content going forward. Please
sit, read, and understand as I will try to be brief.
Basically, trying to keep the Blogger posts up to date with
YouTube can be a pain. Especially when (despite SEVERAL OTHERS having access to
posting on Blogger) I’m the only one who actually copies all the text, links,
videos, etc onto blogger pages and posts them or schedules them. And it’s
become increasingly harder to keep up with that WHILE making content AND
working a full-time job AND trying to find time to write and game on personal
time myself. And with us not making money on the Blogger Page or even our
YouTube channel, it becomes increasingly less fun to do all that work with no
real benefit. I mean, hell, we don’t really even get responses on most of our
blog posts. Leaving me to wonder if anyone bothers to read them?
The plan, currently, is to move EVERYTHING to Tumblr.
YouTube can automatically post videos to our Tumblr account, meaning that’s one
less thing we have to copy-n-paste over every day. Tumblr also will
automatically post to Twitter and Facebook (which Blogger won’t for us) and
this allows us to get our articles shared much more easily with less steps
involved. Our idea is to simplify the process of getting content out so we can
focus more on making content and less on sharing the content we already made.
That being said, if there is enough fan response, we may
decide to keep the Blogger Page running. But given how often we get responses
on anything, I’d be surprised if any kind of reaction happens. In addition,
there will also be an “Ask Us Anything” page on our Tumblr to encourage more
fan interaction. Yes, we’re trying to engage our audience. So indulge us with
comments, questions, response, etc because we will respond.
That is all for now. Again, sorry if this news ruined your
day. Please let us know in the comments below and we may change our strategy
here. But otherwise this will be the plan moving forward and we hope you’ll
join us on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. See ya on the other side!
