Reloading - The Flash (Ah ha! Savior of the universe!)

Welcome back to Reloading Reviews where today I’m going to try and tackle reviewing a TV show. I normally don’t because the idea of condensing my thoughts of 23 episodes (and thus, nearly 20 hours) of content down into one small wall of text that I usually use to cover a 2-3 hour film experience or discuss the depths of a 10-15 hour game’s mechanics and lore. But I’m going to try, damn it. Today I can finally, after nearly a year, give my attention to The Flash. And if you don't like this, check out our other review from this week where I talk about dinosaurs eating people.

Reloading - Inkredibles

Time to get another review out of the way and I think this week I’ll finally get around to reviewing Splatoon unless something else happens to keep me from doing so. If this is online, obviously nothing happened, but feel free to imagine me looking around for some kind of “review attacker” who is trying to keep me from posting this. Let’s get this show on the roller!

Reloading - Terminator - Sega Genesis

2015 has been an odd year in film. In one year alone, we’ve had three films break the top ten for highest box office numbers, two of which are owned by the same company. One of which is the seventh movie in a chain of movies that really shouldn’t be earning billions given the quality of writing and content. One of which is a dusty old relic from the 90’s that somehow still manage to blow the minds of children and adults of a new generation. And one of which was another Avengers, and that was the least profitably of the three (surprisingly). And we’re only just now starting the second half of the year. I can only imagine how bombastically stupid the numbers will get when Star Wars finally gets back on the big screen.

E-Vac Update: We're Moving

Hello blogger readers! I have some news I’m sure some of you won’t be quite so fond of, but we’re making changes to how the blog will be posted, and the functions it will serve for our content going forward. Please sit, read, and understand as I will try to be brief.

BulletPoints: The Red Capes are Coming!

It’s another week for another BulletPoints and I apologize for missing last week. I recently acquired a fulltime schedule as you might know from having watched out Podcast the previous week. I’m also working on finding new places to move to now that I can afford to, but I don’t have time to do anything this week due to a full-over-time-schedule. I literally have no extra time, so thank Christ I finished this week’s Smash Suggestion Box before the week started. Anyway, Some big news happened this week in gaming I could talk about. But I know that the podcast crew and I will be discussing the passing of Satoru Iwata in full detail and fondly remembering the good times he gave us. Rather than double-dip into that topic, I’m going to double-dip into the topic of the upcoming DC-films. But please understand, we have much respect for Mr. Iwata and we will give him as much time on the podcast to be discussed and remembered properly this upcoming Friday.

Reloading - Insidious 3: Elise's Story

It’s another Monday and time for another Reloading. This week we’re gonna get a little scary while we talk about Insidious 3. Enjoy!

Let's Fall in Love - RE:Alistair (Part 10)

Things get weird when we go over to Shiro's house. I'm not sure how to feel about this.

Three-Way Catch-Up: #56 and #57

Work has been hectic. didn't realize I was missing so many posts. Sorry about that! Here's a quick catch up from the past TWO podcasts!

Freak Out - Five Nights At Freddy's (Part 5)

Night four is just too scary. We had to call in Erin for help.
Now only day five awaits us.

Reloading - Inside Out

Whenever a new Pixar movie comes out, I’m recently skeptical as to whether it’s worth the purchase or not. Cars having wasted my time twice didn’t really help that lot. And Brave, for everything it was trying to do, wasn’t as great as it could have been. But every-so-often, Pixar throws a new interesting idea to the plate and when it sticks the landing I get blown away. Today will be one of those times as we discuss Inside Out, which I will put up next to films like Toy Story and Incredibles as one of the best films in the Pixar library.

Game On - Jurassic Park the Game (Part 1)

Game on returns with dinosaurs and adventure! Team Aeron and Max must deal with dildosaurus's and some annoying asshole.

BulletPoints - The New World of Rainbows and Unicorns

Welcome back to BulletPoints and today I had probably planned some kind of video-game based topic or movie topic to discuss. However something big in the political sphere has occurred and it’s worth talking about. It’s a big step for the United States and possibly mankind as a whole. It’s the fact that homosexual marriage (now just marriage) is in fact a legal thing nationwide as decreed by the federal level of government. I’m not gay myself but I fully respect the right of people who are to finally celebrate their love in a way equal to any other couple and pay higher income taxes because of it. But, that being said, there are people who are against this notion. I’m not here to tell them they’re wrong. I’m here to talk them off their ledge and hopefully get them to see the world isn’t going to Hell and they’re just going to have to learn to accept the changes taking place.

Let's Fall In Love - Re:Alistair (Part 10)

Things get weird when we go over to Shiro's house. I'm not sure how to feel about this.

Freak Out - Five Nights at Freddy's (Part 4)

This week seems like it'll never end. We just have to keep putting Foxy in her place and be a pack leader.

Freak Out - Five Nights at Freddy's (Part 3)

Looks like day three just will not end. Let's adopt some MOBA strats.

Reloading - Jurassic World - Still Miss Jeff Goldblum

Twenty or so years ago, I went into a movie theater for one of my first times. It may not have been THE first time, but it’s the first I remember. I went with my grandpa at the age of 3 or 4 and we sat to watch these big robot dinosaurs on screen come to life. We say the original Jurassic Park and I was blown away by it that, for years, I wanted to be a paleontologist. As I got older, I wanted to tell stories of that caliber or better. It’s twenty years later and we’re revisiting Isla Nublar in Jurassic World and… damn… What a ride.

BulletPoints - Lessons of E32015

So let’s talk about E3. I know that was all last week’s stuff. But today’s episode isn’t so much about the glory of the things to come from E3, but the things we should have learned from this year’s E3. For, you see, I’ve viewed this event for some time as a burlesque show to give us sights we want, but are mostly things we cannot touch (unless you’re so privileged to go and have the time/passes to do so). Let’s talk about all the pretty things we’ve seen and what we’ve learned from what we saw (or didn’t see) this year at E3.

Jun 22, 2015

Smash Suggestion Box - Krystal

Move over Fox McCloud, because we want to see the first lady of the Star Fox Team join the brawl.

Three-Way Podcast #55 - Can't Be a Kid or a Squid in Black Ops 3

After discussing E3 in our extra-casts we discuss sports, dinosaurs, and play a bit of Drawful from Jackbox.  Shoutouts to Whit Hertford!

Reloading: San Andreas - To a Fault

Welcome back to Reloading where we review games, movies, TV and so on. I just got a copy of Splatoon at the writing of this review (which was launch weekend). So expect that review shortly if it hasn’t already released. Until then, here’s a review of a big popular movie starring a big popular guy doing big tough things. San Andreas.

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 20) - FINALE

We did it! We have found our daughter who has merged with the spirits and kappas to become Mewchu: Destroyer of Logic and Reason. Can we save her or is hope already lost?

Reloading: 5 Flights Up Up and Away!

Hey folks. I know our review schedule has been weird with a mix of older movies and newer movies, but this is nearing the end of the backlog. So thanks for sticking around and letting me do this. With that in mind, Reloading another review for you today. This week, it’s going to be 5 Flights Up, which stars Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton.

Jun 11, 2015

Let's Fall in Love RE:Alistair - Part 6

Time to actually work on this project and spend some time with Shiro.  We learn some weird stuff about him.

Let's Fall in Love Re:Alistair - Part 5

Lack of doing work on our project, doing raids, watching TV, surfing the net and spending time at the mall. Yep sounds like high school.

Let's Fall In Love: Re:Alistair - Part 4

After a short break we make a big decision that'll shape the rest of the play through.

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 19)

Our trio of idiots continue their misadventure through "Nowhere"... wherever the hell that is

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 18)

Things are coming to a head in this episode of "Freak Out - Silent Hill" when Max clones his way into the brawl. And those no-good Kappas are up to their wild antics again.

BulletPoints - Why Gaming Matters

Welcome back to BulletPoints. What I’ve noticed is that all my reviews have been about films and most of my BulletPoints-posts have been about video games. I imagine when I start review games again this will reverse, but I just find this divide a little weird. If I wasn’t so busy watching TV all the time and catching up on old shows, I’d probably have gotten a couple of other games reviewed by now. Alas, hasn’t happened yet. But fear not because Splatoon is coming soon (as a review) and that’ll change everything.

Jun 8, 2015

Reloading - Sinderlla

Me again. It’s Monday again. I suppose I should get up another review again. This week, let’s do Cinderella… again?

Jun 6, 2015

Smash Suggestion Box - Shantae

Matt Bozon, you gave us a possible tease or push for Shantae in Smash. Well... consider the gauntlet picked up because we're gonna give our guess to how Shantae would dance into the brawl.

Jun 3, 2015

BulletPoints - Child's Play

Welcome back to BulletPoints, a series that discusses the timeless quality forms of entertainment like games, movies, games, TV, games, comics, games, and games. We discuss this entertainment in terms of art, business, and just the entertainment in of itself. As we’ve discussed in issues past, I don’t like it when entertainment is made or designed to be exclusionary. And it pisses me off more so when people ask me a question implying that said form of entertainment is, by default, exclusionary.

Jun 1, 2015

Reloading - Furious 7

We’re almost caught up on reviews guys! I’m only a month behind instead of two or three! Luckily we’re getting to a point where there aren’t any new movies coming out soon, right? The summer slowdown? Oh… wait… I’m thinking of video games. Never mind. Well… shit…

May 27, 2015

BulletPoints - Game Ideas #001 - Last Seconds

Welcome back to Bullet Points, a series that covers topics of large variety in games, movies, comics, and really anything that spells out “nerd.” It’s just a few weeks before the big E3 announcement jamboree, meaning gaming news slows to a crawl. I could talk about the big “Kickstarter Boom” going on with games like Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained showing companies like Microsoft and Konami how horrible they’re failing, but I won’t. Folks like Jim Sterling have already covered that.

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 14)

So we're basically playing Final Fantasy XIII. When do I get to press buttons?

Three-Way Podcast #51 - This S is for Hope

Without our co-host, tonight STARTS as a typical Three-Way but things get crazy when Ryan choke-slams the brawl and we actually play a little game. Apologies for the video-recording issue. It's been figured out for next time.

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 13)

Did we just stumble into The Ring? No! That's just the plot!

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 11)

Continuing my solo week, I move on to explore more of the hospital, get lost, and fight zombie doctors who are after my bills for the injuries I have suffered. Damn insurance doesn't cover Other World hospitals.

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 10)

Flying solo for the week. I start exploring the hospital. The spooky hospital.

BulletPoints - How to Three-Way Podcast

Today on BulletPoints I’m going to outline the rules I try to follow when picking news blurbs for our podcast. Please note that I’m not the only one who suggests stories for the podcast, as Nicole does as well. Likewise, any member of the team is welcome to suggest stories if they like. Longer members obviously have more say than newer members on what can stay in the podcast and what can’t. And more priority is given to topics related to topics discussed in the podcast already (such as holiday-related podcasts or big events like Avengers or the death of Monty Oum). That being said, let’s get started.

Let's Fall In Love - Re:Alistair Part 3

A nerd, a possible stoner and now the wildcard of a 20's Boston gangster. Who do you think is Alistair? Let us know your insane theories.

Reloading - The Lazarus Effect

Welcome back to Reloading. It has certainly been a while what with my YouTube shenanigans and such. But now I'm finding time to get us caught up on our reviews, our blogs, our best of lists. And this week our review will be over the latest horror-esk movie to hit the big screen, The Lazarus Effect. This also clears off one of the movies from my “Most Anticipated of 2015” list. Did it live up to the hype at all? Again, sorry it took me over a bloody month to get to it.

BulletPoints - Of Ultron and Ant-Men

Welcome back to BulletPoints where we talk about movies, games, and other entertainment in more detail. We can talk about the art, the business, or just have a little fun doing something nonsensical like last week’s personal Silent Hill venture. This week, I thought we’d dive in some Marvel Comics lore now that most of us have seen Age of Ultron. Why? Because while I really quite like Age of Ultron it got some things wrong (adaptation wise) and while I’m not upset, I feel this is a missed opportunity that will lower the quality of this year’s OTHER Marvel film, Ant-Man

May 11, 2015

Reloading - Taken Too Far?

It’s time for another review here on Reloading. This week, Taken 3, reviewed via DVD copy because when it came out, I never got a chance to see it in theaters. Again, I’m still playing catch-up so feel free to badger me about it if you like.

May 6, 2015

Freak Out Silent Hill (Part 8)

Now that we've graduated from elementary school, we're off to see the world. Let's start with exploring the new part of Silent Hill and finding stuff we can't use. Also, we find God... sort of... and Tauros.

BulletPoints - Silent Hill: Infestation

Recently, the cancellation of Silent Hills came to pass. Konami has once again proven they are incapable of providing us with good games. As evidenced by the fact Silent Hill having quality issues for years, Kojima’s departure from Konami, and their inability to market games in a way that will help them actually sell. This was even brought up in our most recent podcast (#48 Nobody Thinks of Norman Reedus).

To mourn the loss of this potentially spectacular project, I thought why not create my own Silent Hill. For those who don’t know what I mean, Silent Hill is a mysterious town that has connections to a darker, more hell-like world. Throughout the games, it’s been established that those who enter Silent Hill and have darker pasts and great fears will see them come to life. The town acts as not an evil force to torture its victims, but a neutral force designed to help guide you through your internal struggles. True, its dangerous and horrifying, but sometimes the struggles we face are just that and we need a strong enough push to get us past them. This is ignoring the cult-aspect from Silent Hill 1 and Silent Hill 3.

Also keep in mind this is personal. While I have no dark past to really speak of (seriously, I’m a normal dude for the most part) I do have some fears. I don’t expect all of them will be shared here, but I’ll do enough to give a sense of the world and a possible story behind it. And if any development team working on a future Silent Hill title wants to borrow these ideas, don’t let me stop you. I know I won’t be working for Konami to make a game in the series anytime. Even if I did, I’m sure they wouldn’t tell me I was working on a Silent Hill game until a week after it had been announced… which is a week after it launches.

May 4, 2015

Reloading: Avengers: Age of iRobot

There’s no big movie that just came out to review… right? Oh, wait. Avengers: Age of Ultron. Well, shit, and I have a huge backlog of reviews dating back to January that I still haven’t gotten around to posting. I guess they’ll have to wait a week so I can get to this. Also, Cap, don’t start with me about language, time for a review!

Hello! Good morning! So I've noticed the blog has fallen behind a bit. If you are someone who has kept up with us on our YouTube Channel, then you're fine. Highlights - XCOM

Lately I’ve been playing a hell of a lot of XCOM: Enemy Within. And I’ve noticed I didn’t have content planned for most of this week partly because of that. So for today’s Highlights, let’s talk about the planetary defense turn-based strategy game known as XCOM and why we love it so much.

BulletPoints - Link to Better Games

When you’re someone who is considered a Nintendo fan, you have to learn to accept certain things as part of the package deal. You have to learn you need to overlook the poor naming scheme of the consoles. The names are only getting worse, and in the way which it becomes harder to find said device (see New 3DS) online because Google doesn’t fully understand New 3DS means the new New 3DS console, not just a new 3DS console.

Majestic Twleve - Favorite Faces From The Simpsons

Lately I’ve been a bit on a Simpsons kick. And while I don’t think I could accurately list all 12 of my favorite episodes (because picking a solid twelve of near 600 episodes is almost as difficult as picking a solid twelve of near 700 Pokemon) I can certainly pick characters that I enjoy seeing from time to time. If a character you like didn’t get mentioned, don’t feel bad, there are plenty I would love to have listed, but these are the supporting characters (so not the main family) that I really have enjoyed throughout the series.

Trailers On Trial - Blood Running at Sonic Speed

Welcome back to the series where we dismantle and analyze the latest trailers for game and film, Trailers or Trial. We’ll be going into a format change here soon. But before we do, let’s discuss the latest trailers for a couple of upcoming games. This week we have an actual trailer, not a teaser, for Sonic Runners and we also have a story-trailer for the much anticipated Bloodborne

Reloading - Stupider Ascending?

Children, gather around. It’s time for another review of a film (because Uncle Aaron still hasn’t gotten his Majora’s Mask for 3DS because Nintendo, Amazon UK, and his credit card company can’t agree that the transaction was made even though I clearly did it). Instead of getting a review of a game that’s largely irrelevant, you’ll be getting a review of Jupiter Ascending instead… which will largely be irrelevant when this comes out because it’ll have been two weeks old and very likely out of theaters. Hooray!

Three-Way Podcast #39 - Big Ol Sausage in the Mouth

This week, the crew discusses Amiibo, racist doughnuts, Monster Hunter, and things that may eventually exist... possibly... Half-Life 3 Confirmed? Tune in for all that and more on our Three-Way Podcast. Tune in next Wednesday for another live-stream attempt.

Highlights - Portal

Welcome back to Highlights, the series where we talk about memorable moments from memorable games, movies, comics, books, shows, and more. Today we’ll do what I’ve wanted to do for a few posts now, video games. And I think we can all agree this one has memorable moments worth discussing. Portal.

BulletPoints: Wall Crawling Menace Co-op'ed by Marvel

A recent news report announced that Spiderman would be joining the ranks of the Marvel characters in a recent deal construed by Sony and Marvel. While Fox has yet to weigh in on the issue in regards to X-Men and the Fantastic Four, we can spend the time speculating on whether this news is good or not by skimming over some of the relevant facts, of which, we actually know very little.

The Majestic Twelve - Custom Character Ideas

This was originally going to be a “Top Twelve” characters I want to make for Dark Souls. But as I wrote, I thought, why should I just do my favorite ideas for custom characters in one game? But then I realized I don’t want to do multiple posts on the topic because it’s basically just me going on about character ideas without much context other than that. So here is just a compiled list of my favorite “Create-A-Character” ideas from a variety of games. Some of them I’ve already attempted to make… others I am in the process of working on it. Enjoy.

Trailers on Trial - Evolve to Guillermo Del Toro

Welcome back to trailers on trial, where we break down trailers for games and movies to see what works and what doesn’t. When all is said and done, we pass a verdict as to whether we buy into the hype of the trailer or decide it just wasn’t interesting. Today we’ll be discussing Crimson Peak and the launch trailer for Evolve (because why not be somewhat topical). Enjoy!

Reloading: Project Almanac (Spoilers)

By the time this review is released, I’m willing to bet the film has been removed from most theaters in an effort to make as much room for the 50 Shades of Grey craze that is all but inevitable. That being said, I wouldn’t do a delayed-review of Project Almanac if I didn’t think it worth discussion. It’s not a spectacular film and it won’t do anything to rock your world. But it was actually entertaining and is one of the few “found footage” films that I can say does a good job with the concept without becoming a nauseating mess. So, yeah. Rather than talk about 50 Shades, let’s talk about Project Almanac.

Three-Way Podcast #38: After Sex Donuts

Highlights - Earth's Mightiest Moments

In my attempt to fill out the release schedule of posts but also to add variety, here’s a new post series I want to start doing. It’s like a mixture of Reloading and Majestic 12, and we’re calling it Highlights. Unlike a full review, I’m just going over moments of a particular game, movie, book, show, or comic that stand out to me. These are moments that are fun, memorable, weird, interesting, or have some significance to me and why. And it’s listed out, but we won’t have twelve different items (that’d be too much).

To kick things off with the inaugural episode and to get ready for Avengers: Age of Ultron, let’s kick things off with Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. You expected me to do the movie instead, didn’t you?

BulletGanon - Amiibo Crisis 2015

Amiibos… Plastic little figures with specialized chips in them to interact with your games. The effects they provide vary from figure to figure and game to game. And while I really do like the idea of collecting little figures of your favorite Nintendo icons (because, really, will there ever be a chance for a Marth, Ness, or Villager figure after this?), I can’t help but feel like Amiibos are ultimately a bad thing. Perhaps it’s because I’m jaded on the fact that a Ganondorf Amiibo still doesn’t exist and, at this rate, may likely never see the light of day. But I like to think my opinions on Amiibo aren’t entirely based on selfish desires to own a figure of the true dark lord of our times. #istandwithganondorf

Majestic Twelve - Boss Battles of Dark Souls 2

Earlier this week, we put up our review for Dark Souls 2, which you can find right HERE. Assuming you've already read the review or played the game, the following shouldn't be a surprise. Here are the top twelve bosses we had fun fighting in Dark Souls 2. If they didn't make the cut, I either managed to skip them somehow or they're in the DLC and I haven't gotten to DLC (at the time of writing). Let’s get started!

Trailers on Trial: Poltergeists Persona-Fived

Welcome back to Trailers on Trial where we pass judgment on the snippets of film or game footage released to build up hype. Will the game/movie of today live up to said hype or do we even care with what we’ve been shown? Today’s defendants are the new Persona 5 trailer AND the remake of Poltergeist (2015).

Reloading - Dark Souls 2

It took me damn near a month to complete the game… then I delayed posting this review a week because my schedule was entirely too full. But I’d rather have a full schedule than delay everything constantly. So here’s the review some of you have been waiting for… Dark Souls 2.

We bring up a second podcast this week in order to get us up to date with news. And you get more entertainment in one week. It's win-win! Enjoy out latest episode of the Three-Way Podcast where we talk about everything from movies to the NSA to sex in Witcher 3 to Monty Oum.

Highlights - Red Vs Blue Reminiscing

Here’s our second new post of Highlights, a series that points out worthwhile moments in games, shows, movies, comics, books, and more. Without further delay, let’s get into the highlights for one of my favorite web series, Red Vs. Blue

Three-Way Podcast #36 - Chin Deep in Meta

Hosted by Aaron and Nicole, we introduce the world to Ryan and Angel as they introduce us to the incredibly deep world of meta gaming.

Majestic Twelve - Best Fan-Made Amiibo

We talked about it on this week’s podcast and in an upcoming BulletPoints. Amiibo are annoying to a degree, but the custom amiibo scene is actually quite incredible. So I figure, let’s take a moment to recognize the brilliant craftsmanship and dedication it takes to make these cheap looking Amiibo’s look like works of genuine talent. I’ll do my best to include names. If you are the creator of an Amiibo we showcase and you’re name was omitted, please let us know in an email (evacstation@gmail.com) and we’ll make the edit as needed. Let’s get started.

BulletPoints - Waiting for DLC to Evolve

Have you heard of Evolve? It’s an asymmetrical 5-player co-op/versus game in which four friends face off against a big monster on one of several different maps. The concept itself is cool, basically turning the Tank battles from Left 4 Dead into a full game. On top of that, the game looks visually impressive and trailers make it seem fun to play. But why can’t I get more excited for this game? I’m losing my shit over Xenoblade Chronicles X, Splatoon, GTAV for PC, and Might No 9. But, while everything about Evolve would normally flip my triggers, I’m just not entirely bursting my pants with joy.

Majestic Twelve: Favorite Pokemon

Once again, we find ourselves talking about a game that can be played competitively but our list isn’t subject simply to the rules of competitive play. This will be the start of our best and worst lists for POKEMON. Kicking things off, we’ll be talking about the top twelve BEST Pokemon in the series These are just solely my opinion and not all reasons behind them are based on competitive play but also personal preference or any special/significant meaning beyond the stats. Because Pokemon are more than just numbers… to me anyway. It was the first game I ever owned and beat and that’s something special in ways that can’t be expressed with just statistics and tiers.

Trailers on Trial - Five Nights at Teddy's?

Welcome back to Trailers on Trial (we settled on a name of sorts). Last time we discussed Fant4stic and this time we’ll be talking about Ted 2. Oh, boy. (And something else too).

Reloading - The Boy Next Door (to Michael Myers)

Were you expected a review of Taken 3 or American Sniper? Well those probably aren’t happening. The former because I still have yet to see it and probably won’t in the near future. The latter because, again, still not particularly interested. How did I end up going to see The Boy Next Door? A series mostly fortunate events led me to seeing this with a friend where we both had a night off and wanted to actually go out. Was it my first choice of movie? No. But it’s also January and aside from Taken 3, there aren’t all that many options. Go figure.

Goood morning everyone! I get the week is a busy time with work, school, criminal activity, and wanking. So I thought, out of the kindness of my heart and for your convenience, I would put together a recap of the posts throughout the week (complete with links for the full picture). Enjoy!

Three-Way Podcast #35: The Korracast

This week, on our return episode of the Three-Way Podcast, Erin, Nicole, and myself discuss Legend of Korra the series, the season, the finale. We lost some of the audio (you'll see at the end). But we saved what we could. Next podcast shouldn't have that problem. Anyway, enjoy!

BulletPoints - Moore American Coward?

Had fun with Legend of Korra week? I did too but it’s time to get back to reality. And since I don’t have anything else done for reviews (yet), here’s an additional helping of “BulletPoints” to round the week out. So today will be about films. Specifically the American Sniper controversy over what Michael Moore said, calling snipers cowards. Please note I have yet to see the film. I also don’t have much interest in seeing the film and probably won’t, so please don’t expect a review of the film.

Majestic Twelve: The Best of Legend of Korra

We’ve tackled the worst of Legend of Korra and while this show had lots of problems in its development, it had many miraculously great episodes. The best of these episodes are even better than some of the best of Last Airbender in many respects and, to me, allows this show to stand side-by-side with its predecessor as one of the best shows you can ever see on TV. But no more introduction, let’s just get right to it with…

BulletPoints - Korra is the New Firefly

Earlier this week, we had a review for Legend of Korra (the series). You can click the link HERE to see the whole thing. Alternatively, if you’ve already seen it and came for the supplementary post where I bash Nickelodeon and give a bit of praise to the creators for the ending of the series… You’ve come to the right place. So sit back as we kick things off for a rather savage beating of Nickelodeon and their inability to do their job right.

Trailers on Trial - Fant4stic

Hey, so I’m back and this isn’t anything pre-planned. I’m not even sure what “Blog” category this will necessarily fall under. I mean, it’s like a review, but we’re mostly talking about a trailer. And since there won’t be a score because… well… trailer… it’s not even really a review. I guess it’s just a one-off post regarding the new Fantastic Four trailer (or I suppose it’s called Fant4stic). But a trailed dropped this past Tuesday for Fant-Four-Stic and I want to join in the talk while the iron is hot and discuss the new trailer… You can probably expect more posts like this for upcoming Star Wars, Jurassic World, Age of Ultron, and so on trailers.

Majestic Twelve: The Worst of Legend of Korra

The flood of Legend of Korra posts begins as I spend the next two Majestic Twelve posts discussing the BEST and WORST episodes of Legend of Korra. Unlike Last Airbender, I will be separating these into two separate posts, but I may go into more detail as to why an episode is good or bad. That being said, I love this series to no end and think that for all the flaws it has (see my review) and while I can’t say there aren’t bad episodes, even the worst episodes here are better than most average TV shows do anyway. So… yeah.
Today we’ll start with the worst. Partly because I want to end on a high note and partly because I want to take unrelated frustrations out on something and certain bad episodes and characters in Legend Of Korra will offer up just that kind of cathartic pleasure.
